Happiness?

A reality check, and some interesting bits of news,

So finally someone has to do a survey and conclude that happiness is not about having the biggest chunk of money! Thats sooo sweet! Would it make difference in the way most of us lead our lives? Hardly!

I have this intuition that a general level of 'happiness' is fostered very strongly by being part of a (even a tiny few person) community, but group dynamics are hard to manage, and conflict of interests would always crop up when the everyone is trying to do their own thing, which leads to individualism, which in turn leads to my second (but older) link,

Finally, I was once told that "You can choose to be happy", I am okay with that. But then again, its like saying "You can choose to eat chocolate"......
