• Is it an outlet for daily experiences?
• Is it a way of crying out for help?
• Is it letting your imagination roam free without fear of chastisement?
• Is it a way of communicating with the masses, or does it cultivate deeper understanding among a select few?
• Is it a playground for all those amateur writers, or is it a breeding ground for professionals?
• Is it a feeble attempt at making your voice heard, or is it another way of soliloquizing
  
• Is it simply that Grad students are too bored with their impersonal analysis that they resort to running around in circles and passionately rant about issues that really will never be solved.
